Michael, we've fallen a bit behind schedule due to some work we wanted to get done on the documentation so that people will find the spec easier to understand. The current plan is to release the specification to the IMS membership some time around New Year. I'm not sure exactly how soon after that we'll release to the general public, but I'm pushing for as short a time frame as possible---ideally, just a couple of months. If you want more info, feel free to email me at [michael] [dot] [feldstein] [at] [oracle] [dot] [com].

Any word on when the LIS public draft will be released? As a startup always struggling to interact with various SISs, we're especially looking forward to seeing some standards on course data.
